Mother's Day and New Sermon Series
We have been in our sermon series, Epic: How Jesus Changes our Stories, and will wrap that series up this weekend (Saturday Service May 5th, Sunday Service, May 6th), be looking at a challlenging topic: Where is God when we hurt? What is going on when we don't know what God is doing and what's going on?
We go through seasons like this. We need to address it and how it is also a part of the story Jesus creates for us.
The following weekend is Mother's Day. We will celebrate the women in our lives on that weekend!
The weekend after that, May 19th, 20th, we begin a new sermon series: "God in the Details of Life"
In this series, we will walk with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph through the book of Genesis. We will see how God is in the details of our lives, whether we are aware of His presence or not, and that He is always teaching us and calling us to trust Him, to walk in faith.
The Christian life is a journey, and in that journey we will experience not only times of profound clarity and joy and wonder, but also times of uncertainty, fear, tests of our faith, times of trial and times of refining.
In all of these, we will see that God is Good and working in and through our lives for His glory.
Join with us as we continue to grow together!
Grace and Peace,
