A Church in the Community, For the Communities.....

Every year before Christmas and Easter, churches have great opportunities to reach people they might not normally reach. People are still, generally, more receptive to Christ during these seasons.

Stonebridge's vision is to be 'a church in the community, for the communities and the world.' God gave us this sense of vision a little over two years ago and has opened many doors and done marvelous things as we continue to seek Him.

Sunday services are routinely full. God is being gracious to us. Lives are being changed! Saturday services are growing. Lives are being transformed!

We are seeing a profound movement in our young single adults, in our college and career, in what God is doing in our youth department (glorious and beautiful to see!) and what He is starting to do in our children's department as well. These are truly amazing times!

I believe He is preparing us for what lies ahead-and it's not just the annual Christmas receptivity! Once more we will be launching Financial Peace in January, and there will be a powerful outreach push into our communities. We are excited to see how the Lord will use this for His glory and to bless families and change lives!

And, we will also be hosting Ransomed Life, who will present a conference on Human Trafficking on our campus. Having sat in their initial conference, I know this is invaluable information for our communities, for parents and teenagers in our neighborhoods.

So, as we prepare to enter into this extended season of profound opportunity, with space already being limited, we will continue to pray and to move forward in faith! The Lord has given us an unprecedented opportunity. This church blesses me (and so many) because you are a people of PRAYER and a people committed to the WORD of GOD! You are a people who LOVE well.

Those are FANTASTIC things to have in a congregation's 'spiritual DNA.' So, let us continue to move forward in faith, trusting God and His Word, staying in prayer and ready to be used by Him in whatever way He pleases. It's not about us, rather it is all about Him, His glory, His Kingdom and His plans and purposes!

For the King and His Kingdom!

Grace to You,

Pastor Kevin
