Elders, Deacons and Congregation: The Biblical Pattern

Mini-sermon series on elders, deacons and the church body. God is a God of order, so it should not be a surprise to us that the Lord has a design for His church! There are only two offices mentioned in the New Testament in the local church: elder and deacon. Both serve unique purposes and complement one another to bless and equip and strengthen the church. We will examine what Scripture has to say about both and how they relate to the church, and, how the church relates to them.
