The Steward's Joy

In Colossians 1:24–28, Paul shows us the true joy of serving as a steward of the gospel - even through tough times for the church's sake, always upholding that Christ's sacrifice on the cross is totally sufficient, with nothing missing in its power, while we share in the sufferings meant for His body united to Him as the Head. Given this calling from God, he spreads the once-hidden truth now out in the open: Christ living in you, the sure hope of glory for Gentiles too. He proclaims Jesus, warning folks about judgment and the call to repent, teaching wisely to help everyone grow and mature in Christ.
