Jesus Gives Life (Easter), Part 4: Palm Sunday - What Jesus Says About Himself

When Jesus enters Jerusalem triumphantly on Palm Sunday, He is actually saying very important things about Himself that demand a response. He says that He is the Son of God, the King who gives peace with God, the Promised Messiah, that He is worthy of worship and praise, that He is Holy. He is also saying that worship should be in spirit and in truth, and He is also saying that we are all accountable to Him as King. If we receive Him, we gain life. If we reject Him, there is only the promise of judgement.
