The Coronavirus is now moving across America. There are cases here in San Antonio and Bexar County, and across Texas.

People are concerned. There is fear. There is anxiety. People see what is happening in other parts of the world, namely Italy, and wonder, 'will that happen here?' 

The unseen threat of a virus has people on edge.

But....God is at work! 

I want to encourage you to pray, stay in the Word, keep your eyes on Christ and specifically pray for revival and for an Awakening in our land. 

God is using this church. It is humbling and amazing to see the sheer number (in the thousands) of people who are interacting with the video content and lessons and updates on our FB page (Stonebrige Baptist Church-please like and follow it and encourage your friends to as well)! 

It is amazing to see the questions being asked, the hunger for God, for answers, and the openness to the gospel. God is on the move!

He is on the move, not only in our church-but in churches across the land. The commonality among the churches He is using: people are in prayer, are committed to the Word, are sharing their faith (sharing their testimonies, reposting sermons or times of teaching) and finding practical ways to proclaim the glorious gospel of Christ. 

And, people are searching. They are open. 

This is only because God's Spirit is at work, drawing people to the Risen Savior. He is at work in the midst of this trial!

I tell you this to encourage you to stay focused, stay in prayer, pray for God to glorify Himself in your life, in our church, in this land, in our communities, in the world. Pray that the Word goes out mightily. Pray that the lost are saved. Pray that the saved become white hot for Christ. 

Pray that we all run the race well that is set before us!

Times may be uncertain, but our God reigns. He is at work! 

Pray! Connect! Proclaim! Share! Bless! Stay in the Word! Give them Jesus, because He is, and always has been and always will be, our greatest need!
