First Time Visitor
We know visiting a church for the first time can be daunting. We want you to be comfortable so here are some important details. Most importantly, we want you to know that you are welcome here, just as Jesus welcomes all who seek Him.
What To Expect When You Arrive?
You will be greeted by a smiling face with a warm handshake, reflecting the love of Christ. Please visit our Welcome Desk where we can introduce you to Stonebridge with some current info on our activities, show you where to check-in the kids, help you get a cup of coffee, or whatever you need. One of our ushers will be happy to help you find a place to sit for you and your family. We are a family in Christ, a fellowship of believers united by our faith in Jesus Christ. Church for us isn't about the building or entertainment - it's about worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and building community through His Word.
What Time Does It Start? How long does it last?
Sunday Worship Services
Join us in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings for one of our two worship services, offered at 9:45 AM and 11:15 AM. Each service lasts just over an hour and includes Christ-centered worship and biblical teaching.
Saturday Worship Service
We also offer a Saturday evening worship service at 5:00 PM in the sanctuary. This is a great option if you’re unavailable on Sundays or prefer an evening service. This service does not currently offer Kids programs. There is an available Parent Viewing Room in the sactuary, where parents with young children can watch the service while the kids move around.
Small Groups
We encourage everyone to connect with a small group! On Sundays, small groups meet in the portables during both the 9:45 AM and 11:15 AM hours. We also have a Saturday small group that meets at 6:15 PM, immediately following the worship service.
Where are you located?
7684 Talley Rd, San Antonio, TX. Stonebridge is located on the booming northwest side of San Antonio near Sea World and the communities of Alamo Ranch, Stillwater Ranch, Cobblestone, Silver Oaks, Kallison Ranch, and Gordon's Grove. If you travel west on Culebra Rd from 1604 you will pass Taft HS, Alamo Ranch, Stillwater Ranch, and then the National Shooting Club. Go about another mile and take the next left (Old FM 471) after you pass Galm Rd. Follow Old FM 471 around the bend to the intersection of Talley Rd, we are on the corner. For a map, click here.
What Should I Wear?
At Stonebridge, some people will be in business casual and some people will just be casual. For us, and more importantly for God, it's about the heart - just as Jesus looks at our hearts rather than our outward appearance.
What About My Kids?
We offer Kids programs at all Sunday worship services (9:45 am & 11:15 am ). We aim to teach kids to love God, love people, and follow Jesus in a safe environment. All rooms are equipped with security cameras and staff are all background checked and trained. Currently, our Saturday Night Service does not offer kids programs.
What Should I Expect From The Services?
Our service format varies but always centers on glorifying Jesus Christ through engaging and passionate worship, prayer, and a relevant, Biblical, 30 minute (+/-) message. Most services last around an hour to an hour and ten minutes. ChildCare, by background checked workers, is provided at all services except Saturday Night.
We are committed to the historic truths of biblical Christianity and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We're teaching God's timeless truths from the Bible that speak to where you're living today in your family, finances, career, and relationship with God. If it's real life and important for today, you can be sure @ Stonebridge, we're talking about it and in ways that don't require a theology degree to understand it. We believe the Bible is practical and that Jesus Christ is the answer to life's most important questions. Seekers and skeptics are welcome here - come as you are! Jesus said, "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
