For many people, Christmas comes and goes, and then a sort of 'post-holiday' blues set in. The joy and quiet in the soul we experienced Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, seem gone with all of the wrappings and stuff that was once under the tree. It doesn't take long for people to go back to their old routines, even old (and sometimes, bad) attitudes. This should not be. Christmas calls us to remember, to be still and to worship. The true work of Christmas begins after Christmas. Now we roll up our sleeves, quiet our hearts, in the grace He provides, do the work He has called us to, for He came to set us free and He has appointed good works for us to do. That work begins. May the joy and peace of Christ we experienced over Christmas continue as we go about the kingdom work He has given us.

Christmas Eve Candlelight and Lord's Supper Service is a remarkable time to quiet our souls and worship our King, marveling at the Incarnation and Thanking our Lord for the Remarkable Gift of Himself.
